I will say up front: I'm not much of a breakfast gal. Breakfast is usually too early in the morning for me to justify eating a whole bunch, and by time I remember to eat, it's usually lunchtime anyway. However, when I do have the wherewithall to do a little something, things like this apple crisp parfait are perfect: quick, easy, and something you can clean up as you go, it'll leave you feeling like you're eating a whole bowl of dessert for breakfast (and have the nutritional profile to keep you rocking through the whole day).

With protein-filled options like Greek yogurt and protein granola, you can offset some of the carb-heaviness that a meal like this usually has. (Typically, apple crisp tends to be carbs and little else, which isn't to say that carbs are bad, but it is to say that they aren't the only macro you need to keep yourself in tip top shape). When you're trying to get work done and be a boss doing it, you can't have yourself crashing or getting hungry and irritable two hours after your meal.

That's why we're doing what we've done here—and also why, with the ingredients we used, transforming a decadent parfait into the perfect glamour for love, beauty, success, and power. That's all thanks to the apple, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove, so let's take a look.

Magic in Apple Crisp Parfait

So apples and vanilla are two ingredients that really hit home the love aspect of a spell, but what they do here—in conjunction with that fiery, snappy cinnamon and clove—is create the perfect conditions to attract these things. Apples are also considered lucky, as an old superstition goes that kids would cut open apples, and whoever had the most seeds inside would have the most luck for the upcoming year. This kind of working is also best done on a Friday during the Waxing Moon to really maximize that beauty, love, and attraction.

That's why the next time you have a big presentation, or you know you're going to be in front of someone whose eye you want to hook with a vengeance, this is the breakfast for you. It's quick, it's easy, and it's got the elemental and planetary energies to back you up as you command the scene with your beauty and power. Venus for the love, the beauty, water for the emotional connection, and then the Sun and Jupiter for luck and sovereignty, fire for that passionate and powerful snap.
