As I look back on the year, I'll tell you: I have a lot to be thankful for, and such a beautiful community to consider myself part of. As such, I'm looking to organize a Holiday Drive to give back to the witchy community that has come to grow and flourish with me and many others!
Here, we'll get into how to donate, who can receive donations, and what we're gathering donations for, as well as other details like when donations close and what I'll contribute.
Who is Eligible to Receive Donations?
For this holiday drive, we are looking to give back to anyone in need this holiday season. You do not have to be a Christian Witch to sign up for donations—as there are tons of Christians, witches, and Christian Witches all together in our little slice of the internet!—so don't feel like you're left out in the cold!
However, for the sake of fairness and equal opportunity for all, this drive is for people who struggle during the holiday season. If maybe you're someone who can barely afford groceries and therefore can't put anything under the tree for your kids, or if you're someone who wants to be able to have a solid holiday dinner to gather your family around but can't afford much food, or you need new clothes or shoes or the like for you and your family, this drive is for you.
This drive is not for people who just want free stuff for the sake of free stuff, you feel me?
How to Receive Donations from the Holiday Drive
If you're interested in receiving donations for the holiday season, there are two ways I can help! We have a Google form where you can tell us what you need, but mainly, here is what you can expect from this Holiday Drive:
I can use the funds to purchase items off of your Amazon wishlist, if you have one that is public (as public ones protect your information and don't need me to know your address to send you stuff)
I can use the funds to purchase gift cards of your choice and have them delivered to you via e-mail for your grocery, clothing, gift, etc. needs.
Please be specific on the Google form where you can! For instance: if someone has 5 kids, then they'll need more funds for groceries or gifts than a two person household. We wanna keep it fair for all!
How and When to Donate Funds to the Holiday Drive
In this drive, I, Sara Raztresen, will be handling all funds. If you'd like to donate to this initiative, please send me whatever you'd like to donate with a note signifying it's a donation to me.

I will be recording these donations and keeping track of them, and I will provide receipts to show that the money has been properly used for donation purposes. None of this money is going to me in any way.
More than that, I plan to match donations up to $1,000. So if we raise $200, I'll match $200 (for a total of $400). If we match $750, I'll match $750 (for a total of $1,500). If we raise more than $1,000, then I will contribute a flat $1,000 to whatever it is we've raised. Then I'll distribute this money based on need as described in the Holiday Drive Google Form.
Donations will be accepted until Saturday, December 7th. After that, I'll be using the funds to get gift cards or get things from people's Amazon wishlists.

Sara Raztresen is a Slovene-American writer, screenwriter, and Christian witch.
