I've absolutely screwed myself with these.

This week on Patreon, folks voted for a quick weekday breakfast, and I tell you, there's nothing quicker or more simpler than some five ingredient energy bites. No baking, no food processing, no fussing—this is quite literally the easiest and most delicious snack I could make.

That's why it's dangerous. I made an entire tupperware of these, and they were gone in a couple hours. I myself ate eight of these things. There's just something about peanut butter, honey, cinnamon, and chocolate vaguely held together with old fashioned oats that makes the lizard brain go absolutely wild.

There's also something about all those ingredients that's super magical and perfect for your weekday adventures, be they at work, running errands, or anywhere else you need a little sprinkle of luck. Let's talk about it!

Magic in Peanut Butter Energy Bites

It's no secret that things like nuts and grains are commonly associated with fertility and wealth. After all, when the harvests were good, they were the signs that our ancestors wouldn't starve during the winter, what with all the flour they'd be able to mill from grains like barley!

And of course, honey itself has long been seen as liquid gold, and for good reason. Between its color and its sweetness, this sunshine-filled stuff was a sought-after source of sugar our ancestors were always thrilled to have on hand.

And their associations in magic line up with their histories. The planets Jupiter, Venus, and the Sun, as well as earth, air, and fire, come together in these ingredients' energies to bring the sort of luck, power, and optimism we need to face our hardest challenges of the day—all in one quick, easy to assemble, and delicious bite. Whether you're running off to a job interview, going to nail a presentation, or gathering the courage to ask your boss for a raise, these energy bites have exactly what you need to give you that magical boost.
